WellNest L.L.C. (“WellNest,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy.

At WellNest, your privacy matters just as much as your goals do. You are trusting us with pieces of your routines, your progress, and sometimes your chaos, and we do not take that lightly. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how you stay in control when using the WellNest mobile application and related services (the App). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

What you give us

When you sign up, we ask for a few essentials so we can create your account. This includes your first name, username, email address, and password. You can choose to add extra details like your last name, birthday, or state. Those details stay hidden unless you decide to show them.

What gets collected automatically

As you use the App, we automatically receive certain information such as your device type, operating system, app performance data, crash logs, and analytics. This helps us keep things running smoothly and fix issues quickly. If you subscribe through Apple, your payments are handled securely through Apple Pay. We never see your card details.

Your goals, progress, and community activity

Because WellNest is built around growth, connection, and community, we store information about your goals, milestones, photos, check ins, captions, comments, and buddy interactions. You can choose what to keep private and what to share with others. You are always in control of your visibility settings.

Some information is connected to your account, such as your name, username, and device identifier. Other information is aggregated or anonymized so it cannot be linked back to you.

Legal information for users in regions with data protection laws

We process your data so that we can provide and improve the App, meet legal requirements, and when applicable because you gave us permission.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to run and improve WellNest. This includes creating and managing your account, personalizing your experience, matching you with buddies, supporting community features, and keeping the App stable and secure. We also look at anonymous usage trends to understand what works well and what needs improvement.

We may send reminders, feature updates, or newsletters. You can opt out of non essential emails at any time.

We do not sell your data.

3. How We Share Information

We share your information only with trusted service providers who help us operate WellNest. These include:

• AWS for secure hosting

• Mixpanel and Firebase for analytics

• Apple and Stripe for payment processing

• Our email provider for sending updates

These partners can use your information only to support WellNest.

We may also share information if required by law or if needed to protect WellNest, our users, or others.

If you open a link inside the App that leads to another site or service, their privacy practices apply. We encourage you to review their policies.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to support analytics, performance, and general functionality. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or social media pixels.

You can manage cookie preferences through your device or browser settings.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on encrypted AWS servers in the United States. All App traffic uses HTTPS encryption, and passwords are stored securely using industry standard methods. While no system can be guaranteed completely secure, we continuously review our safeguards to help keep your information safe.

6. Account Deletion and Data Retention

You can delete your account at any time in the App.

If you delete your account:

Your personal information such as your name and email is permanently removed within 30 days.
Any goal activity you created remains only as anonymous aggregated data that cannot be linked to you.

We keep account information while your account is active and for up to 30 days after deletion. Anonymous analytics may be kept for up to 24 months.

7. Your Rights

You are always in control of your information. You can:

• View or update your information in your account settings

• Delete your account

• Request a copy of your data at support@wellnestapp.com

• Opt out of marketing emails at any time

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws like GDPR or CCPA, including the right to request deletion, correction, or data portability. We respond within all legally required timeframes.

Some recommendation features use automated processes to personalize your experience, but none of these decisions have legal or significant effects on you.

8. Age Restrictions

WellNest is designed for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a minor, we delete it promptly.

9. International Users

If you access the App from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. When required by law, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a significant change, we will notify you through the App or by email before the new version takes effect.
